Hi folks, I'm a relative noob in this field and I am keen to learn. Does anyone know of any tutorials that link:- Winds3D to Ultimate Unwrap3D to Blitz3d? I have worked with Wings3D a little, produced a few bike wheels, car chassis and the like. I have just purchased Ultimate Unwrap 3D for Wings to b3d compatibility. Nothing special here: just export to obj, get the B3D plugin from unwrap3d.com, open the obj in unwrap and save as b3d. Basta ! |

Thanks, thought I'd have to do some texturing work in Ultimate prior to exporting as a b3d... off to give it a go. |

You may uv-map your work in wings3d or unwrap3d, sometimes wings3d is easier. The texture information will be exported from wings3d. Had no problems here, the export/import-pipeline between these two and blitz3d works very well. Cheers ! |
