Blitz point lighting

I have a blitz light (point) parented to the camera and positioned at 0,0,0 (ie same place as camera).

For some reason, as I turn the camera (without moving it) the lighting on nearby meshes appears to change as though the light moved. Has anyone else noticed this happen before? Is there any way to avoid it with blitz lighting?

Otherwise are there any easy alternatives to blitz lights?

just realised the problem . . . it was actually changing the lighting on a plane object which I now realise that blitz dynamically alters according to the camera orientation. The lighting on other static meshes stays fixed.

I will just replace my planes with meshes. . .

If you have the light parented to the camera then it will turn as the camera turns, like holding a torch and spinning around.

Unparent it and the lighting will remain static.
