I just installed my E-MU 0404 and everything is working fine. Sound everywhere... except in Blitz3D. Does anyone own one of these? http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?category=505&subcategory=491&product=10447

control panel -> sounds and audio devices -> audio tab + use only default devices? Could be as well that this card is provided only with Asio drivers ...

Thanks, I tried that already with no result. It passes the sound test in dxdiag, which led me to believe that it can communicate with directx. All other apps, including games work fine. It's just Blitz3D that I'm having the problem with.

Is it backward compatible with older versions of DirectX? Isn't Blitz3d based on an older version?
