Coldet + ODE + Blitz?

Has anyone tried successfully mixing and matching calls from Coldet, ODE and regular Blitz3D collision commands? Do they co-exist happily or will the universe tear itself apart?

I'm wondering if I can rely on Blitz for most collision interactions, ODE for dynamic stuff and Coldet for simple ray tests and things.

Blitz3D and ODE collisions will happily co-exist. I've no idea about coldet, although I doubt there would be a problem. ODE can do simple ray testing anyway.
