Is there any good, game-style, PNG based GUI?

Hujiklo(Posted 2006) [#2]
This is probably dumb - but can't you just use any and convert any bitmaps to png?

xmlspy(Posted 2006) [#3]
Now that is a "stupid" reply. Pardon the shock and awful scar I have left on your mind with such a violent response. I'm looking for a good PNG based GUI system, capish o no capish?

Note: If I get banned for this reply, I can clearly understand the reason.

capish o no capish?

If you mean "capiche?" then no, I don't. Can you be more specific? I mean, SSwift has a good game-style GUI but it doesn't *force* you to use PNG's, that I can tell, and since Hujiklo's suggestion that you just use a standard image-based GUI met with derision, I'm not sure exactly what you're requirements are with regard to PNG.

Are you talking about a gui that uses alpha transparancy?

Naughty Alien(Posted 2006) [#6]
AlphaGui by Jeppe should be fine

Hujiklo(Posted 2006) [#7]
You failed your test my snotty little son. I had all your answers too. Now I will give them to the poor.

Hmm,

Xmlspy, this community is very helpful, nice peeps, show some respect please.

John Blackledge(Posted 2006) [#9]
As Nicoust said. Respect.

I think that was a wee bit uncalled for as I think Hujiklo's post was a valid one!

What is stopping you using an existing ( assume 2d-in-3d ) GUI and changing the texture format yourself?
