the entityshininess command seems to allow you to enter specular levels above 1.0 with visible results. Is this a card specific thing or is the manual just inaccurate??

try it on a ball with a specular of 3.0 and then another at 1.0, does it give a nice tight shine on everyones pc or is it just mine?!?

I get no difference whether using 1 or 50 for the shininess setting .. maybe it is a gfx card thing .... or your eyes are deceiving you ;) Have you got a picture?

Card ... GFX440mx.

sorry my mistake, i got a few values mixed up like a complete idiot was dividing it by 3 earlier in the.... anyway, itwas reeel sooopid
