Hey Folks

Just wanted to know if anyone could recommend some sort of program for creating trees and landscapes.....?

For landscapes, definatly T.ED (its in the tools section)

For trees go for Aliencodecs tree generation software, BlitzTrees is good if you want stuff like wind through your trees. But plantlife and treemagic are more speciffic, create your custom tree/plant/flower/fern ect.
The only thing is there is no animation on them, you would have to manually create the animation in a seperate 3D program.

Hi,
I would recommend also to take a look at some free plugins
for 3dsmax, milkshape, etc.. for tree creation because
in the case you want to manage some kind of shadow (lightmap) for your trees, the option of treemagic, planlife or similars is not good because these programs save the models in order to be imported directly from your code.

Yes, try Tree[d](Giles) for really low poly and good looking trees.
