Is there a way of programmig own Icons for my programms? When I compiled my programms, there is just the Blitz-Rocket-Icon and don't know how I can use own Icons. If you know a solution of my problem, please help.

You need to use a program such as ResHack to change the icon with your new icon after you produce the final exe. Or you could change to one of the other IDE's that have been made that allows the icon to be changed at compile time. There have been alot of topic's on this and doing a forum search will likely bring up some of the old topic's ;)

I've used resHack to do it, as joncom2000 says.

Full name is 'ResHacker' - easy to find if you do a Google search. Also, if you're windowed, the icon on the Startbar will also need changing (defauly blank). There's some code in the archives for doing this.

If you still have Problems try IconForge. Thats also another good one. The reason y I know that is because a friend of mine, Species has it. If you want more information, email him at Species2002@...

Resource hacker is a great tool. If you want, I can create a small AVI to show you how to change the icon. Mail me if you wish.

http://www.snidesoft.com/ SnIco is a great icon making program And then use Rescource Hacker. I may soon put my C programming skills to use to make a better one. MAYBE!

everything you need for your icons stuff is Resource hacker and Irfan View..both free of course...

ResHack is a great programm!! I can really recomend it!!
