confused about stencil shadows and blitz3d

I'm really confused... I was looking around on the net and found this: http://www.codersworkshop.com/viewshowcase.php?id=395 now if you can download the file from that link you'll see a stencil shadow system demo that (I beleive) could be compared to doom3 and was created in blitz3d... I'm confused about why this hasn't been talked about alot here (as far as I know) and has anyone else pulled anything even close to this through blitz3d? and what happened to Lenn's stencil shadow system? I've seen his Blogg but haven't seen any links or demos... I'm very confused... |

It is done in Blitz3D..but if you compare complexity of scene, number of textures used on scene, you will realized that its too slow for serious usage..anyway, water refraction can be done on the different way, faster...check out my upcoming architectural walktrough withing one month...plenty of this things applied in there.. |
