Using blitz terrain system I don't seem to get shading to appear right after modifying the terrain.. any ideas?

Don't use blitz terrain. I use FLE; check Toolbox->3D Terrain Tools

Any idea about SHADING thing, can it be done after modifying the terrain or do I have to do it with normal mesh?

Mmm, not sure if FLE is still available though.
