Limits on Channels within MOD or XM?

Can anyone tell me if there are any limits on the number of channels within a XM or MOD file? Any limits within the player built into Blitz3D? Will it be able to play a XM file with 16, 32, or 64 channels? Is this dependent on the hardware (16bit vs 32 bit sound card) and how many hardware channels there are? I understand Blitz3D is using the FMOD library underneath and I tried searching for answers on their forum as well, but came up blank there as well. Anyone know? |
