Anyone know of any good level editors. It would be nice to be able to use blitzterrains as well as import and place models (b3d and maybe others). Lightmap/shadow generation is also a must.

Anyone? (Or do I need to do it myself :)

Thanks in advance

Ozak

Hi!

i use this and find it very good. Have a little problem with making surfaces "shine throu" like fences for example... but otherwise its good. Seems to be good at lightmapping and shading aswell.

good luck!

if you can find a bit of software that handles bb dynamic terrains, lightmaps them (and imported meshes) with support for custom properties, fog and lighting.

Please let me know!!

I tried the cartography shop demo but couldn.t figure how it worked for large map requirements.

As "halo" says in the following thread: http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=48388#541069

CShop 4.1 (which you can upgrade to once you buy) allows you to assign objects to a vis group. You can show and hide vis groups to hide large sections of your map while you work on other parts.
