Why is this terrain doing this?

This mesh-terrain is set up to flags 32+2 to allow for different surfaces to have different textures.
The green lines are the modifier mesh with a masked texture on them. (positioned 2 above so visible)

Its the same for any entity with alpha or mask i put in front.
