Point Position vs a Plane

The topic title is difficult to explain by itself.

What i need is having a point in 3D and a Plane (position of the plane and vectors). I need to know what side of the plane the point is.

Any math help, please?

Have not tried it myself mind, but it seems reasonably understandable. It seems getting the distance is really easy if your plane is described in hessian normal form, see the link on that page.

Mmm, thanks for the link, it looks useful. I remember that maths from school. Now i need to know if i am in one side of the plane or the other...

My understanding is the distance will be signed based on the plane normal.
