Hey all,

I've been working on a 2d game for a while now in Blitz 3d.

I've found im needing quite a bit of GUI features and im not real happy with BCF.

Will all my existing code "just work" if i purchace blitz plus.

(i don't use any commands not listed in the 2d section of the documentation)

pretty much. can't use frontbuffer(), and I vaguely recall 1 or 2 other items that were different( thats disregarding the extra features you get in blitz plus, like lockedpixels, and being able to retain images between videochanges, etc ).

Be forewarned....blitz plus is a mixed bag if your looking to develop gui applications. Theres a lot of good, but also a lot of bad.

I use BlitzUI and sometimes NGUI... BCF is great but has twitchy things about it... well the 2.0 freeware does anyway IMO!
: )
But Filax is a fantastic programmer! If you are having probs email him... I think the females have discovered him though... might take a while for him to get back to you

Its not so much that i have a problem with it.. it does everything it reports to do very well. I just don't really like "how" it works.

I should just buy + and see. I think having a html browser in the game could help allot too..

or perhaps i should just get the game finished.
