@Rook: BlitzBass is a wrapper which gives easy control of the Bass Dll, which in turn is a very sophisticated sound handler for complete control of wav's, music etc.
You could concievably write the dreaded LED meter type app for displaying frequencies etc while music is playing.
So obviously this is for people who are heavily into sound.

BASS is an audio library for use in Windows software. It's purpose is to provide developers with the most powerful and efficient (yet easy to use), sample, stream (MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG, WAV, custom generated, and more via add-ons), MOD music (XM, IT, S3M, MOD, MTM, UMX), MO3 music (MP3/OGG compressed MODs), and recording functions. Is it kind of like the thingy that lets people write graphic displays for WM Player? The Star Trek graphics that play when you are thumping GWAR at full volume???
