As you know Blitz3D supports OggVorbis Format. So I have used it to play music and sound effects.

Now I have taken the executable to test it on various systems. On one system (Windows XP, OnBoard sound) I doesn't hear anything, if I play some audio files with Windows Media Player everything souds fine, but my blitz app doesn't play the ogg files.

Do I have to install some codecs first?

Ignore the post above. I suddenly found out that it even doesn't play wav files, so it can't be the codec. I don't know why but even other players like Winamp dont play any sound files on that pc. Only MediaPlayer does? I dont know why, but it must be something wrong with that system :-)

Probably something wrong in audio settings.

Start >> Control Panel >> Sounds & Audio >> Audio >> Default device. Start there.

Also I've suspected for a long time that Media Player has it's own personal drivers, so doesn't 'play by the rules'.
