Does anyone know how Blitz3D can get information from peripherals like printers? -RZ

Yes. Information can be got out of a printer by sitting it in a chair, shining a lamp in its eyes and slapping it repeatedly across the face with a leather glove and asking "TELL ME WHERE ARE ZE FILES?".

You'll probably have to use the Windows API. Check out the API userlibs.

Actually GfK you are not that far off... I want to poll printer memory to check if it has been compromised by a hacker... Yep... API userlibs are the best bet. -RZ
