Does anyone have any good sprite hud code. I've lost the examples I had and now I need them. What I'm looking for is just the basic system for placing 3d sprites in the same manor as placing 2D images.

Look for Simon Armstrong's 'Pixies' code in the 3D code archives on this site, or Syntax Error's 2d-in-3d sprite control lib in the showcase over at blitzcoder.com .

Those seem to have a little too much code in them for what I need. I've really just interested in a the camera hud rig to convert the 3d coord to 2d space. I don't need to display images with it. Anyone have the code for that?
