Does anyone have or know of a free model of a motorbike rider and motorbike?

I'm having a go at a tokamak ragdoll rider and bike for crashing Burnout-style (which seems to be working superbly!!! some of the broken limb results are very painfull looking!) and I would really like a decent test model to use quickly.

It's just a private test and I don't want to use it commercially etc.. so if I there are models hacked from games around (such as UT or Quake, Toca, GP500 etc..) on the net that anyone knows of that would be ideal.

thanks
James

As a side note.. I am really dissapointed by Thief 3's ragdolls.. when you stab someone in the back, they fall on their knees and the whole upper body bends backwards.. and then it just stands like that.. looks like its praying to the stars or something..

Other than that, they just wiggle around all the time.. making a mess..

there is a racing bike on the darkmatter cd 1, with rider. If you got that.

I don't have it no - are you able to distribute the items on that CD?

You should find several free choices here. Grab one and convert it to B3D format. Or if you don't have a 3D program I'll convert a LWO to B3D for you

No, redistribution of darkmatter content is not allowed. But if you list me as a coproducer, it may be legal, coz I own it :)

Here you go:

I found a highpoly model and knocked it down to 3k polys. I know it's a little heavy, but hey, it's free!

Thanks very much Dustin - one thing though - could I please have the model as a 3ds or other Max importable file, because I need to place some markers into it to make the rider sit correctly.

Thanks
James

Dustin's converted model, converted to OBJ ( +MTL, in a self-extracting RAR )

If you don't have it already, you can get an OBJ importer here :

Thanks very much, I'll give it a try.
