If you convert this BMP to JPG, you can easily post big screenshots, with even smaller filesize. If you haven't got a app to save JPG, you could download "The gimp", or any other freeware that can export JPG.

Looks good so far, but I can't see details. Additionally I'd suggest to use slightly yellowish lights to achieve a less syntetic ambience. Maybe use a bigger Lightmapsize to get more details, and try to position the lights where they cast impressive shadows.

If you didn't do this yet, you should download Decorator. It's a very useful tool to add textures to maplet levels (see toolbox, if I remember right)

Check out the freeware program 'Easy Thumbnails' at www.fookes.com/ to convert the piccy to a JPEG.

Then post some more screenshots of your efforts. That one looks pretty good.

Or IrfanView. Us poor people on dial-up have to wait *ages* for the shots to load otherwise :(

Looks nice though - especially if its a first :)

yeah... sorry, ill do that... i got brodband so it goes really fast and loads right away so...

Looks very good - personally, I would pick textures that tile better (without a repeating pattern) - Anyway, it looks nice - something to be proud of.

As I said before, "The gimp" as Freeware and almost as good as photoshop. It was produced for/by the linux community and then ported as well to win32:
http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/stable.html
You first need to install the GTK+2 Package then install the Gimp Package. Both can be found on the page.

As for the tiling textures I have to say that tiles are oftenly obvious when they are scaled too small. simply Scale them bigger and watch it from a closer distance, it looks better. Of course, they should be seamless. A litte hint: somewhere in the code archives is an excellent(!) source that will automaticly make a texture seamless too, written by elias_t.
