TerrainX command?

Hi! Is there a purpose to the "TerrainX" command?

It seems to be useless because:

A) There can be multiple points on a Terrain that have the same Y and Z coordinates as each other, but different X coordinates (for instance, there could be a level area that includes a line on which Z never changes)

B) Therefore, the X value is needed as input to TerrainX

C) So if you already know the X value, what does this command do for you?

Is there something I'm missing, or is the command as useless as it appears?

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

Because terrains can be rotated.
