Availvidmem()

Looking at my textures they are 17MB and PC has only 16MB of vid mem, but why does Availvidmem return 20MB??

I only have 21 textures altogether how much would DXTC reduce the space taken up by?

Dunno. Used to do it on my laptop (16mb Trident Cyberblade) as well. Blitz thought it was 32mb for some reason.

If it was on a laptop, it would have to be integrated, no? :)

Does AvailVidMem also count the system ram (graphics aperture, or whatever it's called) allocated to the graphics card as well? That could account for having more vid mem than your card actually has onboard.
