This is a nice GUI system... ran a little slow for my taste but it's simple to use and looks amazing. Nice work mouss38,

does it have an editor for creating windows/huds ??

You know that one that does create HUDs confuses me (what else is new) as to how the HUD system works... Is in some sort of sprite?

Ngui does not use any sprites... Test it you'll see :)

wether or not sprites are used, I still hate hand coding UI :)

nice Gui. SInce you are writing your own Fileselector, then how about to implement a flexible Preview Mode for all kinds of media? THis is exactly the thing the Windows FIleselector lacks of. Imagine a Leveleditor that would let you preview a Mesh before you load it into the map.

Is this using 2D over 3D (it looks very much like it is)? If so, doesn't it suffer performance issues?

I only ask because I have been trying to create a GUI for a 3D game using pure 3D (i.e. sprites and/or quads), and it seems almost impossible (unless you make it very limited). Writing one using 2D commands would be much easier, but I've avoided doing it because I'm told it is a baaaad idea.

Any comments?
