You want to sell a lib that by 'license' cannot be used in anything but a home made personal demo? No commercial/sharewhere usage? And isn't even compilable unless you buy another lib of yours? I'm all for making money off what I do so it's not that, you just might wanna re-think your 'plan' a little... |

Hi Otacon I don't see the problem ? with this licence your can make your own level editor from terraed code source ! you must understand that BCF 3 is another software ... idem for terraed ! if i distribute all my products with this terraed package i'm killing myself. Next, the specific BCF GUI calling are easily customisable with other free GUI. But you can use the software base, for make specific terrain editor for your game.A great part of the software creation is here. |

Yeah, that's good, what I'm saying is up above it seems to indicate you can't actually do anything with the source commercial/sharewhere wise...and my point is I could only see myself buying something if it was going to helpful in what I'm doing commercially. (Btw i have no plans involving terrains, in case it seems like I'm trying to get this made open-source..I think you should charge, just with a slightly diff license imo, that's all. ;) ) |

Your right Otacon ! i have take this decision because some user's make some differents games (MMPORPG, FPS etc) and Terraed can't make all possibility for all this type of games ! But i continue terraed but for my own vision about this software, but if some people want to make a tool, or modify Terraed for include specific functionality they can do ! |

I have change little the licence. |

So if someone writes an editor, using this source code as their base, they can't release it to their customers? It has to be for internal use only? I'm still unclear... |
