| Clarly written at the bottom of that page : These textures can't be used for comercial purposes in any way without explicit permission from the autor. The distribuition of any part of these material , in any platform, including another website, are prohibited. Not much use for a game then, since the textures need to be distributed for the game to work. |

| Practically all stock photography is overpriced. Digit gives away a few stock photos on it's cover cd most months, and you should see the crap that they reckon is £1,500 worth of stock photography ( 5 photos or something. ) On Topic : There is a definite lack of good game usable textures available on the net. I recall a couple of the Blitz users were gonna put together a cd or two, but I never heard anything more about it. |

| Grass and mud is quite easy to make, at least if you want it at distance, a bmp containing random green colours of different shades will look pretty much like grass. Anything where the details are too small to be spotted can be made this way. But if you want close distance grass, just take a camera, so far it seems to be the best way. By the way, have worked a bit with some textures, and I think my wood generation is pretty good, but there is room for improvements, as always. |

Terrain Texture Pack The package includes 83 terrain textures, 3 detail textures, and several materials to allow your structures and items to fit into the surrounding environment.
