Hey, see if i create a model with different parts to it, but unwrap the whole model and give it one texture, then export it to .b3d, will it keep the whole things single surface even after i use find child to find the groups?

If you can find a child, it's not single surface.

Single surface is just a single mesh to you and me. That means it cannot have children, you cannot use findchild or reference any part seperately because it is all vertices of the same object.

Right, got what you saying. So what happens to the texture. Do they still share it, or is a new one generated for it?

It's still shared.
