Thanks to all who helped me get my head around Render Tweening. Once again this is a great community! Time I paid something back - so I wrote a quick tutorial which I hope will help other newbies in need: http://www.blitzcoder.com/cgi-bin/articles/show_article.pl?f=johnblackledge09202003161847.html Cheers, John |

rendertween always causes a "jump' in my display. like a pause every few moments Yup, I get exactly the same. I'll be sticking with Delta Timing. Nice of you to write a tutorial, John, it's a common question and it should help a few people out. |

Looks useful. The only complaint I have about it is that it runs at about 1/2 FPS on my graphics card cos you a) have too many spheres and b) they are too high poly. I changed it to 100 spheres at 8 segments each. Good work tho. |

Well, it helped me enough..... Thanks for a nice tutorial |

Yeah, the reason for the 1000 spheres (and windowed) was so that it would deliberately thrash the graphics card, forcing the need for tweening. Then I could mess with the code and really start to understand what was happening. Hope it's helped to clarify tweening. BTW I've heard that some people get a regular glitch using tweening, but I've never had it. |
