Could anyone tell some good programs which I could use to create a good looking village for mr RPG complete with houses, etc!?

I`ve already started a major part of it in a modeller but it wouldn`t hurt to know more!!

Thanks!

Hi,

You have a lot of choices depending upon your budget:

CShop available from Halo's website www.leadwerks.com

Quill3D available from Idigicon

MilkShape available from the links page above

are probably the cheapest of the ones worth looking which I know of, although there are plenty more to go at.

What you should also do is go to psionic's web site - there are three houses already available, as well as tutorials on how they were made (in milkshape).

Another link is the RPG stuff at Binary People... they have animated horses too! Very nice.

The RPG village stuff is here:

Otherwise you could pay someone else to get involved - or just ask for help from others who may be interested in being involved in such a project.

I hope this is of some help.

IPete2.

What format is the pack from binary people in? The web site doesn't say, and that piece of information is somewhat important.

Epic,

Thats because I stupidly gave the link for purchase, not the description link. Let me look at the options for you...

Go here and look down the pictures until you see a house, click on that link to find out the options - Oh I see there are no options as you say - hmm!

I'll e-mail them to find out.

...Okay, I have now e-mailed them, expect a reply here (I hope).

Thanks for the big ideas guys but now I would like to know where I could get some good textures or how to make them in Photoshop!
