Hi. I need some help in creating a long, mostly straight winding road. This road will be a mesh I load into the game. Any techniques on how to keep it looking even and not sloppy? Thanks all, Fader |

Mostly straight yet winding?? :) Depends what software you're using. In Max4, create a line which has the shape of your road, then create a further line which is the cross-section of the road. Select the first line, and select "Compound Objects" in the "Create" panel, and choose "Loft". Click on "Get Shape" and click on the cross-section. After that, fiddle with the settings in Skin/Surface parameters to get it to look right. |
