Can Blitz3D support .blend files?

Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Programming/Can Blitz3D support .blend files?

My computer cannot support 3DSMax, as its too large of a file size for it.

So, I am making my character models in Blender. But can Blitz3D support .blend files? I want to know so I make sure I'm not wasting my time.

Thanks!

Not natively....you would need to convert them.

However if space is a concern milkshape3d is a lightweight program that exports to b3d.

Blender can export to a number of popular formats depending on what features you need some of which can be loaded natively by B3D, there are also a variety of freeware/commercial tools that can take files exported by blender and convert them to formats B3D can handle though you might be a little limited if your using animations.

Go here: http://www.rtsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?7509-Blender-B3D-2-6x-Export-script

Get that. Installer that into your Blender plugins (a simple process that I can't remember the details of at the moment, else I'd tell you).

See how you go.

(B3D, btw, is Blitz's "native" 3D file format)

I've decided to scrap using Blender. It's too complex for me, and some of the buttons won't respond...

Thanks for the responses anyways, however!
