Im constantly for years trying to download a simple 3D
models and each time either I get it with no texture.
or ultra scaled size..
or over complexed..

Any one knows of a site that let you download models with no such issue..

Just simple as downloading a jpg image with out all this hassle..

Im looking for a simple battle space ship that will be textured and in format of X or 3ds..

cheers

yea...
All I get from them are problematic models.
Nothing works correctly.. I dont know what am I suppose to do..

I just downloaded a spaceship with no textures and exported it into an fbx and I got 616mb file! wth...

@Hardcoal>>It depends on the complexity of the model that you want, but if you want something which is not highly detailed, with a precise texels size and a well ordonered uvmap, i suggest to try to use Wings3d, this modeling tool is easy to learn, and the unwelding / texelsfilling / uvmapping are easy to do (cut the edges you want, unweld, define the triangles size (to have the appropriate texel size in the triangles), define the triangles position orientation, export)

Tnx remi I'll give it a shot.
But tell me why is it soo hard making things simple..
Why when I'm downloading a model it comes
With camera and light source and God knows what more..
And all the hierarchy is messed up..
And the model is not centered..
Why omg why..

This is a rhetorical question no need to reply.

Ive checked wings3D. its nice concidering that its free
and Im amazed of what people actually achieved doing with it

Hello, I can create your model of the spacecraft for free. Present me a picture of what you do quires and in b3d .

Greetings .

Re my first comment....if you purchase one of the models I mentioned they load into blitz3d with zero problems.

It is as simple as calling loadmesh followed by load texture and then entity texture.

Did you even try any of the models I suggested? The blitz3d standard model viewer in the ide will show them perfectly fine as well.

hi tnx! Yue!! Great tnx for your goodwill to help.. sorry for not replying fast.. I kinda missed this post already ..

I need some blitzers opinion.. I havnt had that up till now..

I want to send my GameEditor Matty for Your Opinion..

Sorry if I aint clear.. my mind is not always in its best shape
Im too over occupied with complex bugs.. :)

About my spaceship.. It Aint Great I know but not bad for a First Ever Ship :)

I can do much better when I wont/ Be busy Programming

I just made a basic Ship for my Game Tests..
Since I couldn't Find one that will Suite me

Its about time I think that someone with blitz background will review my work
and vision..

Tell me If I waisted my time or not

Sorry probably not. I work during the day (at lunch right now) and on my home pc I only use it for my own dev work - nothing gets installed or loaded on to it apart from a handful dev tools.

Well, never mind then..
