Mac advice?

So I'm swapping my PC for a portable Mac but as I really really like Blitz3D I now nneed to learn use vm's... parallel or virtualbox or vmware on mac are the options. Anyone here running Blitz3d on a Mac that they are truly happy with performancewise? Any tips on what VM should one get and which Windows to run in it?

vmware - blitz3d runs fine and fast , only the text command isnt working ( no text on screen) maybe a bug in vmware

Parallels 10, definitely. So far the fastest one I have tried.
