I've just upgraded to a new system with W7. With IDEal I'm getting a "Specified compiler not found in location" becuase it is trying look for the compiler in the "Program files" directory, which in W7 is where 64bit programs are installed, but Blitz3d is installed in Program files (x86) for 32bit apps. Is there a fix or work around for this? I can't live without having the use of IDEal. :)

In the menu Settings...Preferences...Compilers you can specify the compiler(s) and which one is the default. Mine is now C:\Program Files (x86)\Blitz3D.

I vaguely recall having some trouble getting this to work. But I don't remember the details and it works now.

Why can't you just copy the whole B3D folder , and save it in C:\Blitz3D?That's where my Blitz Max folder is saved.

Thanks Floyd. That was the trick.
