Hi everyone,

Is it a good idea to load images, meshes sounds ect... All at the start on your program or does that use up memory and just load them into the program as you need them?

It depends on what you are trying to do - if it is only a small game and you want to keep load-times down, you could preload everything - or most things - at the start. Unless you have a decent amout of media, there is nothing wrong with this. However, if your game is large it would normally be best to preload a few global things and then load level specific meshes, etc. when needed.
