ClearTextureFilters messing up music

Hi, has anyone else had the problem where, unless mipmapping is used for everything, songs play very distorted? I use ClearTextureFilters to turn it off because I need sharp textures for some things, but I definitely need the music to work too! Please help. |

Are you by chance, using an integrated graphics card. If so, that will share main system RAM. Although, i would have though using mipmaps is going to up the memory requirements... unless the textures are fairly large, and because there is no lower texture size, because mipmap is disabled, the system may be struggling rendering a scene full of large textures. |

It tends to be more problematic when the texture is viewed at an angle, or when the camera or mesh is moving. |

Definatley sounds like a memory / cpu issue. not much you do. tried using smaller textures? |

512s. I don't know, non midis also seem to make it worse. |

well try making your textures 256x256. it sounds like running this on an integrated gfx chip. |
