When I open screen with Graphics 800,600,32,1, I get screen which resolotion seems to be 1024,768 where 800,600 area is inside leaving border (C64 style :-) If I caputre the screen with IrfanView, I get only the 800,600 area, nothing more, nothing less. If I make 800,600 window, everything is ok. The problem is probably my laptop's "feature". -- Marcell

I was wondering that has any one else experienced that border-effect.

on my dad's ancient Windows ME laptop it does that for all resolutions lol but it is ancient....

Your laptop will/should have a setting; "stretch screen" or similar in its BIOS, if not an easier method of changing the setting. My old Toshiba laptop could change this from its dispay settings.

I think it must be something like "Preserve native resolution". That way the screen is 1024x768 or some other resolution, and the display area has to be padded with the black border.
