It has an example on how to play a movie and I tried it but it only comes up to a blank screen. |

The movie codec/format has to be supported by DirectPlay. Try for instance an animated GIF: |

My Blitz3d program doesn't recognize the "PlayMovie" command. |

The code doesn't have a "playmovie" command. It only says "drawmovie" and an "openmovie" command. |

It could be that you need to upgrade Blitz3D to enable to movie commands. If you go to Help->About you can see what version of B3D you are using. |

It says something like this: IDE V1.64 - Linker V1.64 = Runtime V1.64 If my Blitz3D isn't the newest version, I hope I won't have to pay money for the newest... |

Looks like there's a newer version of Blitz3D called Blitz3D SDK... What's really the difference between the two? |

The cores of B3D and B3D_SDK are the same, but the sdk you can use with other languages like C++ C# or Blitzmax. SuperRoboFan, the lattest Version is 1.103. ;) bye |
