Hi, using cos & sin to simulate the sea, but it is all too regular.

It must undulate without being random.

Any ideas?

Can I see the code you have now?

Santiworld(Posted 2009) [#3]
sorry my english :)

use two waves (sin cos waves), 60º one each other...

one more bigger than other. (depending the wind)

add randome values to increes the sin and cos you have..

and use a texture to make the water detail... some animation..

change the colors depending the angle of the water surface and the light.

and change the opacacy and color depending the camera angle...

Would Cubemapping be a suitable alternative?

Buy Fastlib and have some excellent random-looking bump-mapped water that looks brilliant!
