First Person code - camera and collision

Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Beginners Area/First Person code - camera and collision

Dear all,

I've searched the forums, but can't find specifically what I'm after.

I'm okay with loading a mesh and moving my camera around in it, and I'm okay with collisions in general.

But, how do I give my camera a body so that it can collide with walls and check for gravity etc. Is just a case of parenting it with a cube/sphere and making that invisible?

Many thanks.

Thanks.

Shame there's no media attached, as it would have been good to see it in action.

You dont need media for this, it will run without:)

Well I'd be a monkey's uncle; so it does.

I just saw the LOADMESH commands and thought Uh-oh.

Thanks, guys.
