How do I update my version of Blitz3D?

Greetings.

This noobish WERDNA has a fairly basic question to ask.

How do I update my version of Blitz3D?

I'm afraid that it might be out of date, and I have no idea how to
bring it up to speed! Do I have to purchase a new one?

Thanks if you can answer this!

What could this mysteryious image be? I have used it in several
posts now! Could it be a screenshot of my ultra mysteryious game,
that will eclipse all of my previous so called, 'games'?

Download the latest version from your account under product updates?

*edit* I should note that I only own BM, but I am guessing they use the same method for all products.

KillerX(Posted 2008) [#3]
It's the same for b3d.

Can you please stop posting silly irrelevant images in every post? :/

Whatever it is, post it in the showcase when you've got something more than a toddler's crayon drawing. Until then, nobody really cares.

Answer to your question WERDNA...

1) Login.

2) Click on the "Account" Tab.

3) If you haven't already done so, click on "Register product", and use your BUID to register your copy of Blitz3D.

(The BUID, is that long Alphanumeric number on the front of the User Manual that was packaged in the box along with the Install Disk.)

3) Finally, click on "Product updates". The rest is childsplay.

4) Enjoy.

afaik his is from the download only distribution, so there would be an email somewhere
but he would have to have entered it in order to get a forum account ;)
i bought bplus with CD and it was printed on the disc ... dont know why i ordered the CD mind, its not a huge download ;)

Thanks everyone!

That solves my problem ^_^

And as to posting silly irrevelant images, thats sort of my signature
thing ^_^(I.e, I'm going to keep doing it)

Put it in your signature, then?

From the official FAQ:

What is the acceptable size of signatures?
As a general guideline you should use *either* five lines of text or an image no taller than 80 pixels.

WERDNA(Posted 2008) [#10]
Oh whoops.

If I'm breaking the rules, then I must end the posting of such
irrelevant images. :(

Thanks for pointing that out Gary!

WERDNA !...

If you want to show-off images and stuff but don't have room in your signature area, may I suggest a solution ?...

1) Create a blog somewhere on the net, and stick your stuff in there.

2) Put a link to it in your signature.

That way, nobody will take offence to it ;).

WERDNA(Posted 2008) [#12]
Hey, nice idea steve! Thanks ^_^

Zeotrope(Posted 2008) [#13]
It's not breaking the rules....it's just rude

I dont really have a problem with it but I guess if other people do then you should stop :/
