I know that I can call different anim sequences using the "Animate" command, but I can I also select different anim's using the "AnimateMD2" (using MD2 models of course) command?

It look like I have to use static numbers, is this true ?

thx

i believe you use the extractsequance command.

CodeOrc(Posted 2008) [#3]
yes, I do use that but the AnimateMD2 command does not offer a "sequence" option.

Only
AnimateMD2 md2[,mode][,speed#][,first_frame][,last_frame][,transition#]

your 'sequence' is defined by first and last frame of animation sequence you have stored within MD2 file...so, you can have many animations stored in one file..

can i create a md2 file with 3dsmax?

Naughty Alien(Posted 2008) [#6]
..yes,You can create MD2 with 3dsmax..its beautiful and easy way...you will have to purchase plug in, and i think its not expensive at all, and its very nice since, no matter what modifiers you using for your character animation in max...plig in will beautifully pack everything in to MD2..

here is Plug In web site...developer is more than responsive guy..really handy..
