how is the correct way to make images alpha in blitz..


something like the mouse cursor with shadow (2d)

i make the TGA or PNG in photoshop,but the only alpha i make, is with mask color, with mas, i can make shadows transparences...

Blitz2d images cannot have alpha. You will need to fake it.

You COULD checker the image with a mask black pixels. This way it appears to the human eye that the image has faded and is see through.

Blitzmax has alpha image support.

It uses 3d. You can get 3d sprites to mimic 2d images by getting the "nSprite 2" library. Excellent little thing :o)
