Is there a way to make Blitz3D's lines/ovals/etc, glow like BlitzMax?

Write a line drawing function that draws several lines 'side by side' of differing intensities, or use a stretched quad with a greyscale intensity pattern across it.

Can BlitzMax make glowing lines? If you're doing it for a 2D game the SpriteCandy can do additive blend.

Tonyg, if you want to make glowing lines in BlitzMax you can use Indiepath's TexturedPoly - that's free, which SpriteCandy isn't.

Thanks.

BlitzMax lines don't glow.
BlitzMax has no lines at all, they are polygons.

So to get the same effect just generate polygons as well with alpha that are put each over the other with alpha or add blend.
