3D World tiles?

Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Beginners Area/3D World tiles?

I wish to create a "game" that uses a grid of 30 tiles by 30 tiles. Each tile is a 2D plane that is 1024 meters by 1024 meters. Each tile has its own texture material. I created the tiles in a 3D modeler and saved them to DirectX mesh files. Is it possible for me to modify the game so that it loads 100 tiles instead of 900 tiles and when I move to the edge of the world, the program adds more tiles to that edge of the world and removes the tiles from the other edge of the world?

Sure it's possible. Let me think on it for a day or two, and I'll get back to you!

Thats no problem.
Its even simpler than in 2D as Blitz3D will automatically hide tiles outside view if you let them remain as own objects :)
glue together can be done with very simple for x ... for y ... next next loops at creation of the world
