I have a large MP3 file with all kind of sounds effects in it. Is there a way to play only that part i want to have.

I do not want to have differend files for all kind of sounds. If it can be done in one great file. You have to load it once and all is in.

EG the gun fires and a reload gun sound i need. But there is also water falling, telefoon ringing, foot steps in it.

Is there a way in BB to get that part of a MP3 played.

No, I don't believe there is a command for that. You could look at BlitzBASS, maybe it has a function for controlling the sound's position.

It is a .dll that can extend the soundplaying capabilities of Blitz:

You can also use MCI for that, and if your project is a commercial one, you wont have to pay for bass :P

True. Although the licensing costs of playing an MP3 ( whether commercial or not ) will dwarf the costs of Bass.
