Hi everyone, got something to ask here.

I have been using the b3d pipeline exporter in 3d studio max to export my model and textures. It works pretty well, but I have some problem deciding which map should be on the top layer and which below.

I have made a simple mesh along with diffuse, normal, specular and light map, but i have no idea which texture layers should come first. I have tried several ways but the results are not really what I'm looking for. Right now I'm using the specular layer on top, follow by the normal map, then the lightmap and finally the diffuse map at the very bottom. I'm using alpha under the blend options (not really sure if it is correct), and didn't check any of the flags options.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks alot!

Trying the gile[s] (v1) demo may help. It will give you an idea in real time of what works and what doesn't. It's written in Blitz3D.
