I have been using Blitzs for over 2 monthst now, and have pretty much knowcked out the basic's. BUT, i desire to use the point light in order to create a "Flash Light feel" to my sceen. My problem is that even though i am using camera fog, and the single parented point light is in the sceen.... It looks nothing like a flashlight??
I have changed the lights color to a red to see where it points too, but still the entire scene appears light, Plus the point light does not seem to be hitting the ground? what am i doing wrond and can anyone help ???
Thank you.

To get a flashlight effect, you need to use a spotlight. A point light casts light in all directions.

You should not need to use fog to get the effect you want.

Also note that because Blitz3D has per-vertex (not per-pixel like shaders have) lighting so the density of your mesh to be lighted will affect greatly how the "flashlighted" your scene will look in the end.

This textured spotlight code archive entry by fredborg should assist somewhat:
