copy entity vs entity instances ?

I was wondering if copying entities is any more a less processor intensive than using the same number of entiy instances (i.e. multiple objects derived from a type). I am working with type/instances that each contain several meshes when the model collides with different surafces a diffrent mesh will become visible. I am trying to figure out if this is the most processor efficent way to do this. |
