Hi all,
Does anyone know of any good books for learning Blitz3D, I 'm currently working my way through "Game Programming For Teens" and finding it a good book for steering me through the learning curve of Blitz3D, I am just wondering if there are any more helpful books either available now or soon ??

Thanks guys !!

Regards Dave

I'm not aware of any books that deal with the 3D capabilities of Blitz3D - they all seem to just focus on 2D stuff, AFAIK.

Your best bet to learn 3D is to look at the provided demo code and code archive stuff, experiment lots and ask lots of questions on these forums. You'll be surprised how quickly you pick up the basics. :)

My programming website may give you a few pointers.

I fully recommend 'Learn to Program 2D games in Blitz Basic' by "Krylar" as a lot of stuff in there is applicable to 3D games (types/data banks/arrays/waypoints/particles/multiplayer, etc).

There is a Blitz3D book apparantly in the making - there is info on this over at Coders Workshop - where you can also buy the above book.
